Kunzel bezeichnet das vorliegende Stück als Probeprägung. Dazu schrieb er: "Diese Proben gelangten infolge des Siebenjährigen Krieges nicht mehr zur Ausgabe, sondern wurden samt den vorgefertigten Münzplatten der Stadt Lübeck mit der Maßgabe verkauft, sie einzuschmelzen".
