Diese Münze ist ein höchst interessanter Typ, den Dannenberg als "unbekannte Münzstätte" beschrieb. Mehl glaubte, dass diese Münze in Magdeburg geprägt wurde, aber die Rückseite von Dannenberg 610 und die Vorderseite von Dannenberg 611 ähneln diesem Stück, sodass Dannenberg auch eine Prägung in Merseburg in Betracht zieht
